We support students and recent alumni as they explore their interests and gain experience to reach their career goals. Our Career Services team provides individual advising, as well as career resources and guides. We offer ways to search for jobs, internships, and other experiential and employment opportunities, as well as customized career events focused on skill-building, learning about industries and career paths, and networking with employers and alumni.

Allyship & Action: Support for Queer Individuals in the Workplace
Wednesday, October 16 from 4-5 p.m. | Workplace culture, policies, and practices can all be major contributors to the health and wellness of an organization's employees. This panel session -- designed for both members of the Queer community and their allies -- will address the unique challenges that LGBTQIA+individuals face in professional spaces. Panelists will also provide specific strategies for managing stress, preventing burnout, addressing microaggressions and discrimination, approaching identity disclosure, creating and advocating for inclusive policies, understanding and practicing allyship, and accessing key resources. Join us for an honest conversation aimed at helping you and your colleagues create and sustain a healthy, supportive work environment for all.
Careers in the Commons: McIntire School of Commerce - Masters Programs
Thursday, October 17th | 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. | Jim McEnerny, Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions and Recruiting at the McIntire School of Commerce, will be visiting VCU to chat with student about their M.S. in Commerce and M.S. in Accounting programs. Stop by the table outside VCU Career Services in the University Student Commons (across from Chick-fil-A).
Following tabling, Jim will offer 1:1 open timeslots to review resumes and transcripts and talk through what the program can offer students on an individual level.
